The winner takes all
In the UK, when they have an election, the candidate with the most votes wins everything. The other candidates can go home and live on with their normal lives and the votes people have used on these candidates are wasted. This is very different from Norway, where not only the party with the most votes is in government but also the parties that have a sertain amount of votes.

Yes your are right about that, it is a different system from the Norwegian one. Still it is important for everyone to vote. And even if it seems the votes are wasted I don't think they are. If the other candidates get many votes the winning party will have to think about issues that concern the people in their constituency.
SvarSlettI guess I could have writen that in a better way. I didn't mean that it's not important for everyone to vote. Everyone should vote, but I meant that since the party that win the election wins everything, the party that doesn't win don't get anything. They just go on with their normal lifes.
